Richard Branson is best known as the founder of Virgin Group, which comprises over 400 companies ranging from travel to lifestyle to food and drink. This prolific tycoon has was knighted for his service to entrepreneurship.

Why He Will Inspire You: Branson has had the entrepreneur spirit his entire life. First, at the age of sixteen, he started his first business venture, a magazine called Student. That spark grew into a wildfire that has taken over the business world.

Andrew Carnegie

A classic example of a businessman, Andrew Carnegie led the expansion of the steel industry in the late 1800s. The merger of Carnegie Steel Company and J.P. Morgan resulted in the U.S. Steel Corporation.
